The next two plushes were requested by work colleagues who promptly started arguing about who got to have theirs done first. I tried to choose whoever had honestly asked me first but who really knows if I was right.
He wanted Black Widow from the Avengers movie. He kind of wanted Scarlett Johannsen but really there are limits to what one can do in a plushie. He also said she had to have proper boobs and I thought, what the heck.
So I started working on a planning sketch. By which I mean something that is not a great drawing but helps me work out what I need to do.
First problem was I didn't really have red hair colour, but he seemed happy with a more pillar box read so I got started.
I decided I'd make the curls more obvious with embroidery and although not entirely accurate colour wise her bullet bracelets would be a sort of shiny maroon.
I some ways she was way easier than 10. There was no separate coat, and to make my life easier and as she was technically in an all in one suit I put her body in one piece with the belt embroidered on.
She also came out slightly more cuddly than 10 and with rather more forehead than planned but I still liked her. All in all one happy PG.
He liked it and his daughter (under the age of 1 year) apparently kissed it, which she doesn't do really.
One satisfied customer.
